It took me some time to get my review posted, but here it is; https://thebookstop.wordpress.com/2024/02/26/ozathon24-ozma-of-oz-by-l-frank-baum/
I love how you’re sharing illustrations from other versions of the books. I’m such a purist about Neill’s illustrations, but I do like seeing how others interpret the characters.
I’ve enjoyed hunting out some alternative illustrations. I’m really intrigued by that version of Ozma of Oz which seems to be in Polish, it would be fun to see those illustrations in an English editiion.
Ozma is very resplendent in her elegant green gown, but I too am a purist about the illustrations!

Yes, the Neill illustrations will always be the definitive ones for me, although I enjoy seeing some other interpretations.
